Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgeon

Born and trained in New Zealand, Ashwin Chunilal is a consultant plastic surgeon in the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Middlemore Hospital. After his specialist training, he completed fellowships in reconstructive microsurgery and facial reanimation at Toronto General Hospital, in head and neck and breast microsurgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre in New York, and in cosmetic surgery on the Gold Coast, Australia, before joining North Shore Plastics in 2005. He is married with three children.
